Biography

Kate Boleyn is an English actor with a BA (Hons) in Acting and Performance from the University for the Creative Arts Farnham and an MA in Shakespeare from the University of Birmingham.

During her studies at UCA, Kate worked across both stage and screen, developing a versatile practice and creating original work including Dear Shakespeare (2017) and Knock Knock. Who’s there? (2020).

Between 2017 and 2019 she performed at the Farnham Maltings in Chekhov, devised theatre, verbatim work, improvisation, and site-specific Shakespeare, including Hamlet and King Lear at St Andrew’s Church in Farnham.

Kate’s love of acting began in the West Midlands. Before university, she performed Shakespeare for large and varied audiences in and around Stratford-upon-Avon through the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and worked on a royal performance in 2013 with close links to the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Bringing emotional clarity, theatrical discipline, and a grounded screen presence to classical and contemporary work.
